Photographer Will Poythress delivers a specially curated collection of unprecedented moments every time he takes pictures by personally crafting a plan to capture the life of a special event.
With only a $50 pawnshop camera, he started the journey as a youth of turning his skills needed to become a stellar athlete into a career as the leading photographer at the the "best of Atlanta". Will, a native son of Atlanta, understands the rich history of the gem of the South. His deep love and respect for his hometown coupled with 20 years of professional experience gives him a distinct ability to capture the uniqueness of events held in Atlanta.
As an event photographer, Will has shot world-class events in the areas of sports, cultural history, and music. To date, he has a body of work that includes highly publicized events such as the 1995 World Series, the 1996 Summer Olympics, and the Atlanta Jazz Festival as well as more intimate private events for celebrities such as Erving "Magic" Johnson Foundation and Evander Holyfield Foundation.
Will believes that photographs should not just capture a still moment but be a part of a bigger story. "Photographs are the key to unlocking cherished memories so they should be taken with professionalism and poise," says Will.
